Have heart-to-heart conversation: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Meitei, Kuki communities in Manipur
Wednesday, 1 November 2023 Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has appealed to warring Meitei and Kuki communities in Manipur to engage in dialogue to resolve their conflicts. Singh emphasized that violence is not a solution and urged the two sides to address the trust deficit. Manipur has been experiencing significant violence in recent months due to tensions between the Meitei and Kuki communities, resulting in over 180 deaths.
