Delhi govt to add 50 services to its doorstep delivery scheme
Wednesday, 1 November 2023 The Delhi government plans to expand its doorstep delivery scheme by adding 50 more services, including power connections, bill payments, and vehicle permits. Currently, the scheme covers over 100 services related to documents such as driving licenses and domicile certificates. The government aims to include these new services within a month, after resolving software-related issues. Additionally, the government will also integrate its free pilgrimage program for senior citizens, called Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojna, into the doorstep delivery scheme. To access these services, citizens can book an appointment through a toll-free number.
