Deadline December 24, not January 2, says Maratha quota activist

Quota activist Manoj Jarange said on Friday that the deadline to meet the demand for Maratha reservation was December 24, and not January 2 next year as announced by the Maharashtra government on Thursday. State housing minister Atul Save, who was part of the delegation that met Jarange-Patil before he withdrew his fast, said, "Initially, Jarange-Patil had suggested December 24, but our delegation asked for January 2, 2024 and his supporters agreed.
