TMC hits out at CPM, says ‘we will choose our allies in Bengal’

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has criticized the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) for suggesting that it will continue to oppose both TMC and BJP in West Bengal. TMC questioned why CPM had tried to undermine them when they were fighting against BJP. TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh accused CPM of being BJP's agent in Bengal and stated that TMC will decide whom to ally with. Ghosh also emphasized that CPM and Congress are irrelevant in Bengal.
