A 19-year-old student in Surat, India, dragged a police officer for nearly 300 meters on his car's bonnet and attempted to crush him under the wheels while trying to escape a police check. The officer managed to escape, and the student was later arrested and charged with attempt to murder and rash driving. This incident highlights the lack of fear of the law in the city.
