Election related seizure crosses Rs 500 crore in Telangana
Law enforcement agencies in the poll-bound state of Telangana have confiscated unaccounted cash, gold, liquor, and freebies valued at over Rs 518 crore as of Tuesday. This includes a sum of more than Rs 177 crore in cash, 292 kg of gold, 1,168 kg of silver, and various other valuables collectively exceeding Rs 178 crore. Additionally, the seized items include liquor valued at over Rs 66 crore, ganja worth Rs 30.7 crore, and other freebies worth Rs 66 crore, as reported by the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer's office.
