Burn wards & 24X7 special care: Hospitals in Gurgaon on alert ahead of Diwali

The health department in Gurgaon has instructed hospitals and primary health centres to be prepared for treating burn injuries during the festive season. Three burn wards have been established in government hospitals, including a 10-bed ward at Civil Hospital in Sector 10. Additionally, ambulances and doctors will be on alert to provide immediate attention to patients experiencing shortness of breath on Diwali night. All healthcare centres will remain open 24x7 on Diwali to ensure timely treatment for patients with respiratory illnesses exacerbated by firecracker smoke.
