Every hour crucial: Medical experts on Uttarkashi tunnel rescue operation

Forty workers stranded inside a tunnel in Uttarkashi are not only facing challenges related to food and water, but also physical and psychological challenges. The workers are in darkness with limited oxygen supply, which can affect their mental and physical health. Being trapped in a claustrophobic condition may lead to hallucinations due to low brain oxygen levels. It is crucial to evacuate them as soon as possible to prevent their condition from worsening. A temporary hospital has been set up near the tunnel for rescue operations.
