2 cops report to court 30 minutes late, ordered to cut grass as punishment
Tuesday, 21 November 2023 Had they not let the grass grow under their feet, they wouldn’t have found themselves cutting it. A constable & a head constable from Manvat police station in Maharashtra’s Parbhani district were recently tasked with trimming grass as a disciplinary penalty for arriving 30 minutes late to a holiday court. According to senior officers, the two policemen were part of a night patrol that detained two men for roaming around suspiciously in Manvat early on October 22, a Sunday. The two detainees were scheduled to be produced before the holiday court at 11am.
