IndiaTimes Tuesday, 21 November 2023
Had they not let the grass grow under their feet, they wouldn’t have found themselves cutting it. A constable & a head constable from Manvat police station in Maharashtra’s Parbhani district were recently tasked with trimming grass as a disciplinary penalty for arriving 30 minutes late to a holiday court. According to senior officers, the two policemen were part of a night patrol that detained two men for roaming around suspiciously in Manvat early on October 22, a Sunday. The two detainees were scheduled to be produced before the holiday court at 11am.
