Auto driver, 2 others in road rage case of 2011 let off on good behaviour bond

A sessions court in Mumbai has let off a rickshaw driver and two passengers who were found guilty of assaulting a bus driver in a road rage incident in 2011. The judge cited the fact that more than 12 years had passed since the incident and the offence did not involve moral turpitude. The accused were released on a bond of good behaviour under the Probation of Offenders Act. The judge stated that there was no evidence of previous convictions or misuse of bail.
