Sans limbs, Andhra Pradesh boy dream-rolls into IIM-Ahmedabad

Dwarapudi Chandramauli, an engineer from Narsipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, overcame severe disabilities after an electrocution accident to crack CAT and get admitted to IIM-A. The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is approaching on December 3. Chandramauli's accident resulted in the amputation of his hands and legs, but he completed his LLB and worked for Amazon during the pandemic. Inspired by a friend's experience at an IIM, he prepared for CAT on his own and was elated to receive a call from IIM-A. In other news, the summer placements at IIM-A saw a variety of job roles, with consulting being the preferred sector for 35% of students. The top recruiters were Boston Consulting Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, HUL, Mahindra, Adani, and Amazon.
