Shivraj Singh Chouhan: The ‘CM from Delhi’ who turned into MP’s Mama

When Shivraj Singh Chouhan became the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, he followed Uma Bharti and Babulal Gaur. Digvijaya Singh, the previous chief minister, had no idea that Chouhan would break his record and become the longest-serving chief minister. Chouhan's success can be attributed to his unique schemes for the girl child and women, such as the Ladli Laxmi Yojana. In the 2008 elections, despite facing challenges and rebels, Chouhan secured a victory that established him as the 'people's chief minister'. However, in 2018, Congress sent Kamal Nath to lead their party in Madhya Pradesh.
