A political storm erupted in Madhya Pradesh after Minister Vijay Shah made a controversial remark about Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, who led Operation Sindoor following the India-Pakistan ceasefire. Shah’s comment—“We sent a sister of their own to teach them a lesson”—sparked backlash across party lines. Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge slammed it as “shameful and vulgar.” An FIR was ordered by the Jabalpur High Court, and BJP’s Hitanand Sharma reportedly reprimanded Shah. Rahul Gandhi has once again resorted to Election Fraud Claims to cast doubt on India's electoral system. From raising questions on EVMs to now alleging "match-fixing" in Maharashtra, his narrative of Election Fraud Claims has no evidence. Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, and JP Nadda have all slammed these Election Fraud Claims, calling them an insult to the people’s verdict. The Election Commission, too, has dismissed these charges as unfounded and misleading. Repeating Election Fraud Claims after every defeat weakens democracy and insults honest voters. It's time to reject fake narratives and trust the electoral process.
