Isro gears up to bring Lunar samples on Chandrayaan-4; Key docking experiment in 2024
Isro's successful propulsion module (PM) experiment for Chandrayaan-3 has boosted plans for Chandrayaan-4, which aims to bring back Moon samples. Isro chairman S Somanath revealed that the next mission will require docking of systems, and Isro is planning the Space Docking Experiment (SPADEX) to test this technology. SPADEX will also provide valuable data for space rendezvous technology, crucial for future space station missions. Isro is also working with Japan on the Lunar Polar Exploration (Lupex) mission.
