Jammu and Kashmir: NIA attaches properties of terrorists in Awantipora
Thursday, 7 December 2023 The National Investigation Agency (NIA) attached two residential buildings in Awantipora district of Pulwama owned by terrorists. The buildings are jointly owned by Khursheed Ahmed Bhat and his five brothers. The NIA's action was taken under the provisions of UA(P)A by the order of the Hon'ble NIA Special Court Jammu. This comes after the NIA raided multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with the terror conspiracy hatched by banned terrorist organizations. The searches led to the seizure of digital devices containing incriminating data and documents.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) apprehended two suspects - Mussavir Hussain Shazib and Abdul Matheen Taha - in connection with Bengaluru's Rameswaram Cafe blast case on Friday. The two were nabbed near West Bengal's Kolkata. Mussavir Hussain Shazib has been identified as the alleged "mastermind" behind the low-intensity blast that occurred at a prominent eatery in Bengaluru on March 1. Shazib is accused of placing the improvised explosive device (IED) at the cafe. Additionally, Abdul Matheen Taha is implicated as a co-conspirator in the incident. Both Taha and Shazib hail from Thirthahalli in Shivamogga district, according to statements from the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
