Two years after a girl was sexually assaulted at her home in Mumbai, a case has been filed against three people. The girl, then 17 years old, was allegedly assaulted by two women who were her mother's friends and a male friend of theirs. The incident occurred during the peak period of Covid-19. The girl's mother had allowed the two women to stay at their home. The girl tried to stop them but was blackmailed with her nude photos. The case was transferred from the Kerala police to the Mumbai police.
