The party clarifies that it never asked for restoration of Article 370, as underlined by the CWC resolution. They accuse BJP of running J&K through “remote control” and a “selected government”. Singhvi criticizes the SC’s refusal to adjudicate on the dismemberment of J&K into two UTs, questioning the legality of the creation of two UTs. CPM believes the verdict will have serious consequences for the federal structure of the Constitution.
