Egg prices in parts of Mumbai rise to Rs 90/dozen owing to winter demand and upcoming festivals

Barely has the winter season tiptoed in than the retail rate of eggs has risen to an astronomical Rs 90 per dozen in certain localities. Individual families, bakers, confectioners, institutional buyers and hotels will all be burdened by the hike.
