Vishnu Deo Sai takes oath as Chhattisgarh CM; PM Modi thanks people

Vishnu Deo Sai, a senior tribal leader, was sworn in as the chief minister of Chhattisgarh along with two deputies, Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan administered the oath of office and secrecy. Sai thanked his political mentor, late Dilip Singh Judeo, and mentioned his journey from a panchayat member to a Union minister. Sao, a former deputy advocate general, was elected as an MLA and has RSS affiliation. Sharma, a first-time legislator, defeated a senior Congress leader.
