CISF generates Rs 16cr revenue through technical consultancy for 228 industrial establishments: Home ministry
Tuesday, 19 December 2023 The CISF has generated a revenue of Rs 16 crore from providing technical consultancy service to 228 industrial establishments in the private and public sector establishments, the home ministry shared with the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. In a written reply to a question, junior home minister Nityanand Rai however denied any plan to initiate CISF into taking up international security consultancy. It is βnot under consideration at present,β he stated. CISF is currently protecting 358 entities in the public and private sector through the length and breadth of the country, as per the forceβs website.
Former Congress leader Amrinder Singh Lovely joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi on May 4. The development comes days after he resigned from the post of Delhi president of the grand old party. Lovely resigned as the party's Delhi unit chief, citing the alliance with the AAP as one of the reasons. He said the Delhi Congress unit was against the alliance with the AAP but the party high command went ahead with it. After joining BJP, Arvinder Singh Lovely says, "I had resigned from the post of Delhi Congress President and after that, I met all my colleagues and thousands of Congress workers. All those people said that you should not sit at home and should continue fighting for the people of Delhi and the country."
