Ghaziabad issues social distancing advisory, helpline for Covid

A 45-year-old man with comorbidities, like diabetes, tested positive for Covid in Ghaziabad. The patient had symptoms like fever, cough, and cold and was recuperating at home. The administration issued an advisory recommending social distancing, use of face masks, and precautions for the elderly with comorbidities. Helpline numbers were provided to report Covid-like symptoms. Ghaziabad has seen over 1.1 lakh cases and 494 deaths since the pandemic began, with over 150 new patients on average every day.
