Rana Kapoor gets bail in ED case but won't walk free yet

Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor was granted bail by a special court in Mumbai in connection with a Rs 5,050-crore money laundering case registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Kapoor has spent more than the minimum punishment period of three years without charges and trial. However, he will remain in jail due to pending bail plea in another CBI case. The judge emphasized the need for timely completion of further probes to prevent exhaustion of the maximum sentence period.
