Friday, 29 December 2023 The Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) will initiate a scholarship program next year to support financially underprivileged individuals aspiring to become mountaineers. NIM has signed an MoU with Dr Liladhar Bhatt Memorial Kalyan Samiti (DLDMKS) for this program. The scholarships of Rs 25,000 each will be awarded annually to four trainees who complete the Advance Mountaineering Course (AMC) and Method of Instruction (MOI) courses. The selection will be based on the trainees' overall performance during the course. This initiative aims to help aspiring mountaineers overcome financial constraints.
