Part of opposition bloc, says AAP, focuses on LS, Haryana polls
Sunday, 31 December 2023 Setting in motion preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said as a member of the 'INDIA' group of opposition parties, the party would put up a strong fight on whichever seats came its way after seat-sharing talks. "AAP is part of the INDIA group. Whatever seats we get, we will fight with all our might and win them," Kejriwal said at AAP's national executive and national council meeting on Sunday. "Elections cannot be won without a strong organisation; therefore, now we need to build our organisation across the entire country," he added.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, fresh out of jail on interim bail, didn't waste time in criticising the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a press conference held in Delhi, he questioned the BJP's focus on asking other bloc parties about their Prime Ministerial candidates while ignoring their own. Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), challenged the BJP to declare their own Prime Ministerial candidate amidst ongoing political discussions.
