Maharashtra monitoring Covid cases daily, taking steps to limit spread: Deputy CM Ajit Pawar

Deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar closely monitors the Covid-19 resurgence and issues orders to officials to limit the spread. The government receives daily updates on cases and patients can undergo treatment at home with a doctor's advice. Precautionary measures to curb the spread have been given to civil surgeons and health offices. Pawar inaugurates multiple facilities at Sassoon and BJ Medical College, including a functional 11-storeyed building, transgender ward, renovated grounds, CT scan and MRI centre, forensic department, neurosurgery department, internal medicine ward, and interventional radiology section. Upgrading Sassoon and getting more hospitals and facilities in Pimpri Chinchwad are underway.
