'We're Hindus': Karnataka deputy CM DK Shivakumar defends special puja on January 22

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar defended the Congress government's decision to organize special puja in 34,000 state-owned temples for the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple. The state government issued a circular asking temples to conduct special pujas for the Pran Pratishtapan of the Ram idol in Ayodhya. Shivakumar stated that being Hindus, there is nothing wrong in attending the consecration ceremony. The AICC will soon decide on attending the function.
