Woman kills two kids in Tamil Nadu, tries to end life twice

In a tragic incident near Thyagadurgam in Kallakurichi district, a 23-year-old woman, D Saranya, murdered her three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son by throwing them into a well after a quarrel with her husband. Following this, she attempted to end her own life by jumping into the well but managed to swim to safety. Subsequently, she climbed a high-tension electric wire tower and jumped off, sustaining injuries. Saranya was taken to Kallakurichi government hospital, where she is currently recovering. The ongoing discord between Saranya and her husband, M Devendiran, over trivial matters reportedly led to this tragic incident. Saranya's actions were discovered after a search by her relatives and neighbors, triggered by the sudden disappearance of her and the children. She has been booked on a charge of murder.
