PM Narendra Modi's emotion-choked voice briefly trailed off as he spoke on Friday about wishing he had spent his childhood in a home like the ones created under the country's largest affordable housing scheme for the poor. "I visited one of the houses we are handing over to you...When I see these things, am overcome by an indescribable feeling of satisfaction," he said at an event in Maharashtra's Solapur town where he had launched the Ray Nagar Co-operative Society Federation's EWS project five years ago.
