India’s Water Vision 2047: States to work on 22 recommendations, focus on effective water governance

The Centre proposes setting up an action group of secretaries to strengthen water security and implement India's Water Vision 2047. The group will focus on creating new institutional mechanisms at the state level and involving people, including farmers, to address the water agenda. This proposal is part of 22 broad recommendations discussed during a conference of state water secretaries.
