Osmania University student loses Rs 4L in crypto trading, ends life in hostel room
Thursday, 1 February 2024 Erra Naveen, a postgraduate student of Osmania University, died by suicide after losing about ₹4 lakh in cryptocurrency trading. Naveen consumed pesticide due to financial distress caused by the loss in bitcoin trading. He had used credit cards to invest in bitcoins but was unable to pay his dues.
