On Saturday, the opposition called for the resignation of CM Eknath Shinde and Dy CM Devendra Fadnavis following the firing incident involving a BJP MLA. Congress state president Nana Patole stated that Shinde should step down due to allegations made against him by MLA Ganpat Gaikwad, while Fadnavis should resign due to the breakdown of law and order.
