Remand prisoner died in suspicious circumstances

A remand prisoner in Visakhapatnam Central Jail, Koda Potana (45) died due to alleged cardiac arrest. Still, the family members alleged that he was severely beaten to death by the jail staff. The tribal prisoner Potana was arrested by Pedabayalu police of Alluri Sitarama Raju district last year while he was transporting ganja.
