2 deaths at Shambhu: 78-yr-old farmer & GRP cop; heart attacks cited as the cause

A 78-year-old farmer, Gian Singh, died of a heart attack at Rajindra Hospital in Patiala. Hira Lal, a GRP exemptee sub-inspector, died at a civil hospital in Ambala Cantonment. Teargas was fired at the Haryana Police barricading on the Ghaggar river bridge.
