Cop accused of extorting Rs 8,000 from woman during drunk driving check

A traffic police constable is facing an inquiry after allegedly extorting money from a woman during a drink-and-drive check. The constable's body-worn camera was turned off. The JB Nagar traffic police inspector has given a report to senior police officials. The inquiry is being conducted by Deputy Commissioner of Police Kuldeep Kumar Jain.
