Bengal dancer pursuing PhD in US shot dead

Amarnath Ghosh, a Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam exponent pursuing his PhD in Washington University, was shot dead in St. Louis, Missouri. Friends and family in India appealed to the PMO, MEA, and US embassy. Devoleena Bhattacharjee announced the death on X, tagging the embassy, minister S Jaishankar, and PM Narendra Modi.
