‘Eliminate dirty cash but also protect donor privacy’, says poll body chief
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar emphasized the Election Commission's commitment to transparency. He stressed the necessity of a system to regulate undisclosed donations while safeguarding donors' privacy and preventing any harassment for their contributions to political parties. Responding to a question on electoral bonds at the EC press conference here, Kumar said there is no scope in a democracy for hiding things.
