No ‘cattle class’ for these Bengal bovines

IndiaTimes Sunday, 17 March 2024
Locals in Memari, East Burdwan district, halted a Bihar bus on the Grand Trunk Road, revealing a surprise onboard – a luxury ride for cattle. The bus, packed with bovines, was brought to a stop after one of them tumbled out during a sudden brake. Suspecting it to be a case of cattle smuggling, they informed Memari police station. Police searched the vehicle and said bus driver was able to furnish valid documents.
