Narco-terror financing: J&K SIA files chargesheet against two
Monday, 18 March 2024 Jammu and Kashmir SIA filed chargesheet against Zaheed Khoja and Zameer Lone for narco-terror financing under the NDPS Act, UAPA. Lone, a LeT terrorist in Pakistan/PoK, conspired to spread communal disharmony. Both plotted criminal conspiracy to raise funds by unlawful practices to financially support the terror, including setting ablaze govt buildings and residential houses of minority communities.
Elvish Yadav, a prominent YouTuber, admitted to arranging snakes and venom for rave parties after his arrest on charges of supplying snake venom. The revelation contradicted his previous denials. The case, stemming from last November's arrest of a group supplying snakes and venom, has serious legal implications for Elvish, who now faces charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
