'Scam worth thousands of crores?': Priyanka Gandhi questions BJP on new Telecom Bill

IndiaTimes Saturday, 30 March 2024
In a social media post in Hindi, the Congress leader posed several questions for the government, including whether there was a scam worth thousands of crores in the allocation of satellite broadband spectrum. "Has there been a scam worth thousands of crores in the allocation of satellite broadband spectrum? Why was the new Telecom Bill passed when 143 opposition MPs were suspended? Is there any connection in this?" she asked. "Why was the rule of bidding removed in the allocation of internet spectrum from satellite through the new Telecom Bill?"

Priyanka Gandhi slams PM Modi for calling Rahul Gandhi 'Shehzada', calls him 'Shahenshah' | Oneindia

In a scathing critique of previous Congress administrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lambasted their approach to dealing with Pakistan's terrorism. Modi likened their efforts to sending "love letters" to Pakistan in a bid for peace, only to witness a surge in terrorist activities as a result. His remarks underscored the need for a more assertive stance against terrorism, emphasising the imperative of safeguarding national security. Furthermore, Modi alleged that Pakistani leaders are actively advocating for Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to ascend to India's prime ministership post-election. However, Modi firmly asserted that India, in its pursuit of strength and security, unequivocally demands a resilient and steadfast government. #PriyankaGandhi #PMModi #RahulGandhi #Shehzada #Shahenshah #PoliticalCriticism #IndianPolitics #LeadershipDebate #PoliticalRhetoric #ElectionDynamics #LokSabhaElections #LokSabhaPolls #Elections2024 #LokSabhaElections2024 #LSPolls2024 ~HT.178~PR.152~ED.194~GR.121~
