Modi 3.0 may trim ministries, expand elderly pension net

In keeping with PM Modi's repeated declarations that he is certain of a third term, top government officials are preparing an action plan for the new regime, focusing, among other things, on "optimisation of ministries" from the current 54, increasing the number of Indian missions overseas by 20% to 150 in the next six years among others.
