Goa: 16th century idol discovered during Smart City digging

Excavation in the capital city for Smart City unveiled a stone sculpture from late 16th to 17th century associated with Paulist missionaries, with similar sculptures in Siridao village. Archaeologist Varad Sabnis emphasized their presence in areas like Panaji.
