Rahul Gandhi met Manju Singh in Raebareli, mother of Captain Anshuman Singh who died from severe burns in Siachen. She opposed the Agniveer scheme. Gandhi visited Lalganj memorial, laying a wreath and planting a sapling, then went to AIIMS-Raebareli. Anshuman received the Kirti Chakra posthumously, awarded by President Droupadi Murmu on July 5.
