Excise policy: SC judge recuses from hearing Manish Sisodia's plea for revival of bail petitions

Supreme Court Justice Sanjay Kumar recused from Manish Sisodia's bail pleas in the excise policy scam. Another bench will hear the ED and CBI cases on July 15. Urgency was sought after earlier refusals on June 4 followed Delhi HC's May 21 verdict and trial court's April 30 order. Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26, 2023 for his alleged role in the liquor policy case.
