Reel deal leaves Ahmedabad man poorer by Rs 1.8 lakh

A 23-year-old from Ghatlodia filed a complaint with Sola police, claiming he was defrauded of Rs 1.80 lakh by an Instagram user promising cheaper electronic devices. He transferred money via a QR code sent through WhatsApp but never received the items. A complaint under IPC and the Information Technology Act was registered against an unknown individual.
