Unfinished Mumbai-Goa highway work: Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde orders culpable homicide case on contractors

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reviewed the pending work on the Mumbai-Goa Highway and directed authorities to file criminal charges against previous contractors for shoddy work that led to road accidents. The 84-km stretch between Panvel and Indapur was particularly problematic. Opposition leaders protested during his visit, leading to their detention by police.
