'More people flying direct to & from India now than pre-Covid 2019': OAG

Direct flights between India and other countries have increased significantly. IndiGo, Air India Group, Akasa, and new international airlines have boosted nonstop travel. In 2023, about 57% of passengers traveled directly compared to 54% in 2019. Middle Eastern hubs saw a decline in indirect passengers while Indian hubs gained traffic.
