Naval brass to review operational situation & preparedness in IOR

Navy commanders will convene for a four-day conference to evaluate security and operational readiness in the Indian Ocean Region. Chaired by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, the meeting will discuss strategic, operational, and administrative matters against the backdrop of rising Chinese activities and regional threats. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other military leaders will participate.
