26-year-old IPS officer, en route to first posting in Karnataka, dies in road accident

A young 2023-batch IPS officer, Harsh Bardhan, tragically died in a road accident in Hassan district while on his way to his first posting. The accident happened when the vehicle's tyre burst, and it collided with a house and a tree. Karnataka's chief minister expressed condolences, acknowledging Bardhan's hard work and the unfortunate timing of the incident.
