Friday, 3 January 2025 The UAPA Tribunal confirmed the Centre's notification declaring the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) as an unlawful organisation for five years. Justice Anoop Kumar Mendiratta cited evidence linking SFJ to international Khalistani terror groups, ISI, youth radicalization, terror financing, and threats to politicians, supporting the decision with testimonies from 52 witnesses.
Comedian Kapil Sharma’s café in Surrey, Canada, was attacked by Khalistani terrorists on July 9. At least nine shots were fired at the café in a shocking nighttime drive-by assault. No injuries were reported. Babbar Khalsa-linked terrorist Harjit Singh Laddi claimed responsibility, citing an old remark by Sharma. Laddi, wanted by the NIA for multiple killings, including a VHP leader, remains at large. The attack has reignited concerns over Khalistani extremists operating from Canadian soil with growing impunity.
