SC: Legislatures should study efficacy of laws periodically

Supreme Court advised Parliament and assemblies to periodically review their enacted laws, approximately every 10, 25, or 50 years, to ensure they meet desired goals, and address deficiencies. The court declined to alter the 45-day limit for filing election petitions, as requested by BJP's Maneka Gandhi.
